Sliding screen door adjustment screws.
Once the one side is adjusted you can adjust the wheel on the other side.
The sliding screen door lowers which makes it possible for you to remove the sliding screen door.
Adjust the door by turning the adjustment screws.
Position the door so the frame is about 1 4 in.
The bottom of the frame should be about 1 8 in.
Then turn the screws until the frame is parallel with the jamb edge.
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise and lower the door until it rests on the track.
If the side with the adjusting screw is too high causing it to bind at the top turn the screw counterclockwise.
Each sliding screen door typically works on 2 wheels with each having their own adjustable screw.
After a successful adjustment your door will glide along its tracks almost as well as it did when it was first installed.
There should be a uniform gap along the bottom and top edges of the door.
Do the same at the other end of the door.
To check the adjustment stand back and look at the door from the outside.
If it s too low use a flat pry bar to raise the door while you turn the adjusting.
Then raise it one roller until it lifts the door about 1 4 in.
Screen doors also have tension screws you can use to change the door s position.
If that doesn t work check for damaged wheels that need to be replaced.
